The system is designed to show the short story, once you then click the full story link it'll take you to a new page that'll display both the short story and the full story. To stop the comments being shown on the full story page, edit the template you're currently using, expand the Comments Structure section and remove the {comments} & {commentsform} tags. | |||

now the full news story page does not have the "Full story" link. thanks. also, on reflection, it's better to have both the story and full stories on the full news story page, as originally designed. thank you for your help :) | |||

i uploaded n-13 news files into: http://www.mongolusa.com/n13news so the star images should be at: http://www.mongolusa.com/n13news/images/... the folder http://www.mongolusa.com/news is where the index.php that i created is residing. | |||

but later, i back up (saved) the database because i wanted to reinstall n-13 news files into http://www.mongolusa.com/n13news folder. after reinstalling the files, i replaced the database file with the one i had saved. | |||
