Errors in selecting uploaded file for a news in category

Hi Chris,

I wanted to make a file downloadable for a news item for which I uploaded a power point (.ppt) file then I went to edit an already created news item, and clicked on small color icon to select uploaded file and I see following errors (as shown in screen shot):

1) File size is showing 32 KB whereas the original size is 1.01 MB. Now checking this file physically in "uploads/" folder and also via "Options->File Uploads" menu option (2nd screen shot), the file size is okay i.e. 1.01 MB but at upload window it is showing incorrectly.

2) Errors at the checkbox for selecting that ppt file.

Version: 3.3

Can you please let me know how to fix these errors?

Download this, replace your own copy of config.php with this new one and hopefully this should fix the problem.

Just noticed the second error regarding the filesize, looking into that now. The above file fixes the error message.

I replaced my config.php with yours but error is still there but now on line 757.

This should fix both the eror message and the file size.

Hi Chris,

The problem is solved but only in case of editing a news. While adding a news, selecting file window is still showing the same error on line 763.

The file size is still showing 32KB.

It worked and now no error at the selection of uploaded file screen, file size is also showing correctly.

Hi Chris,

I followed an article here in the forum to display uploaded file in the article and it showed properly but when I click on the link to download that file following error is coming:

I added a new function to config.php - redirect($url)

Download this and replace your own copies of index.php & config.php with these new ones.
