More characters in TITLE

Hi all,

In NEWS>ADD NEWS when I enter a big title, the system saves (and shows) only a predifined number of characters (didn't count 'em :pinch:

) but I definately need more characters...

Is there a way to add more characters in the field "TITLE" ???

Run this query against your database using something like phpmyadmin

ALTER TABLE `news30_story` CHANGE `title` `title` LONGTEXT;

This will allow you to store the same amount of information in the title as you can the shortstory/story.
