Ive created a page mock-up and have a writer lined up to write ten articles per day - 50 per week.

He has no ability to set up a back-end. Can your script do this or do you advise me to simply work through Wordpress.
The mock-up shows the ten stories coming into the site on the right hand side at different times of the day.
On the left is archives in particular category with latest story in archive also showing an extract.
Can the news be configured to appear on my home page in the way that I have described in the mock-up ?
How does the writer get the articless into the system ?
Are these sections added into the home page as php includes and xml feeds ?
Will your system supply an rss version for customers use ?
Do you recommend your system for my application over wordpress or another system.

When you install the system you then have the ability to create additional user accounts, these user accounts can be limited to certain actions, i.e. posting in certain categories, limiting which sections within the admin area the user can access.
The system gets included into your current design via php includes and you manage how the news gets displayed on your site via the built in template system so you can indeed make it look exactly how it appears on your current mockup.
My script is designed for users to include into an already existing design, with wordpress you generally design around it so they are entirely different and have different uses.
