Hi -

This looks like one of the best PHP/MySQL news systems around. many thanks.

However, I have encountered a small problem when installing.

Most of the install seems to have worked ok, apart from a pretty important error - I cannot post news!

Have installed on an IIS server with mYSQL.

Get a wierd half-missing page when trying to post a new news article (/admin.php?action=addnews)

Also get this error when I click Edit News:

"You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SELECT COUNT(id) FROM news30_comments WHERE news30_comments.pid"

Can you help please?

Thanks - Andrew

Can you tell me which version of IIS you have installed and also which version of PHP? I'll try reproduce this problem on my own machine.

Edit: also which version of MySQL?

Server software = Microsoft-IIS/5.0
PHP Version 5.2.6
MySQL version is 5.0.51a (I think)

Let me know if you need any more info.

Thanks - A
