I'm (very) new to N13, so sorry if this already exists or has been requested - but I haven't found anything in the admin options or by searching the forum.

Something I think would make N13 totally perfect is slashdot-style comments. In other words, collapsing/expanding comments (so you can see who's replying to who) and a moderation option, so that trolls can be moderated into oblivion and good posts get highlighted (if other users can choose what 'level' they want to see).

Also a general question while I'm at it, what licens is N13 released under? Obvously not GPL since there's no LICENSE-file anywhere, but I can't find any other info either. My suggestions above is something I could do myself (if I can find the time!) if Chris thinks it's a bad idea, but... well. License? (in other words, would it be legal?)

Slashdot style comments would be nice and might be something to add in the next release of the script. Currently the commenting system is pretty basic, comments only go 1 level deep and you can't reply to existing comments.

The trouble with adding new features like adding up/down votes to comments is deciding how to implement the design/functionality whilst still giving the admin full control over how it looks. Similarly with adding the ability to reply to existing comments then allowing them to expand/collapse, this would also need to be worked into the news template system.

The system was intended to be released under GPL but a mixture of laziness and indecisiveness about which license to choose made me just ignore it. I'll update the system soon though and add the license info to all the files.

In the meantime feel free to modify, redistribute the script as you wish, just don't sell it :)
