It seems that there is no global template.....

etc

all separately edited. Is there not a global template (for page headers and footers) that contains all the above.

The "News structure" & "Comments structure" are sort of like the global template, each of the other sections. "News" & "Comments" etc. are defined as tags within the structure sections.

I think you're going about implementing the system in the wrong way. Although you could put your heads and foots in the above sections it would be a lot more easier to design your page layout/design then include the script into it.

indeed, i can see that

but say i make a page test.php and call the script file ./news/index.php, this page wont be unique. (It will only get indexed as test.php and not for each article).

Or at least I dont see how ?


I can see that within the page there would be a unique RSS feed for that article but this doesnt seem to carry metadata into the test.php page.
