Can you describe what image.php is actually doing because I am seeing a slow delayed page loading as this script aparently continues to download some sort of image ?

image.php is the captcha image used by the comments form.

Check the template you're using and look for image.php then make sure the path is correct.

ive actually got capture deactivated under settings so suprised that this image.php call is being made ?

loading actually hangs for well over a minute and the message in bottom browser bar is (1 item remaining) downloading picture http:......

Edit the template and expand the Comments Form section, search for image.php and if you don't use the captcha on comments simply remove it, if you do use the captcha change the path to http://ukcitymedia.co.uk/news/image.php
