there's no way to make this work on windows IIS7?

its too annoying to go from IIS to Apache, i have to change absolute paths everywhere. Man, when the new version of this programm is coming out?

Switching servers simply to disable a php setting seems a bit excessive. I would definitely try find out why your host said they can't disable register_globals on IIS as I don't know of any reason that would stop them from doing so.

Unfortunately not, register_globals definitely needs to be disabled.

Ok, im on Unix/Apache! Did register_globals off, now script seems to be working well, but when i press submit comment - it says invalid security key! But i even cant see a Security image! What's wrong?
And by the way how to configure Friendly URL function?
File extension: .html by default (If i have a php site, should a rename it to .php?)
Prefix: /news/ by default (if i not mistaken, its a path to N13 news script folder on my site?)
Directory filename: index.html by default (should i rename to index.php?)
