Okay I set up a feed, so that I can have the users who visit the site sign up to receive the feed in their email (via MailChimp). I first set up the feed in the control panel of the n13. Then when I tried to set up the feed through mailChimp it stated that I need to check the feed for error because the feed wasn't valid. I went to a validator site and sure enough its giving errors (the feed).

Can you help please? Ive attached a link to the validation check so you can see the errors its giving me.

The first validation error is easily fixed. Go to Options > System > Timezone: Change this to +0000
To remaining errors are to do with your server. If you view the source of this page

http://twelvesouthmusic.com/news/rss.php?feed=TwelveSouth_News

Notice these lines

Code:
<guid isPermaLink=\"false\">1269540957</guid>

Your server is adding \ characters in front of the double quotes. This is a PHP setting called magic_quotes_gpc which needs to be disabled.

See this thread on how to do that.

Once you've disabled it, edit your RSS feed again and remove those \ characters.

You are using version 3.3. I highly recommend upgrading to 3.4 as it contains an important security fix and it will also stop these \ characters being added.

Edit db.php so that it matches your own database settings.
