How to add css to readmore link?

Hello,
i have a design where i need to add css class to links.
Is there a way to add a css class to the readmore links without editing functions.php?
cause i need 2 diffrent readmore links

(One is just a link (class="link1") and the other which will be shown under the news would have a bg image (class="link2")

You could create custom read more links like so
