Is it still possible with v3.7 to have uploaded images automatically resized, and to have them clickable to open the larger image?
While it is possible (and easy) to resize the image displayed in an article, the drawback is the image that loads with the article is the full sized image simply scaled down, which means the file size and load time is the same as that of the full-sized image.
With the auto-resize, the image that loaded with the article was smaller, taking less time & resources to load. Or is that just an illusion on how it worked?
I think the trade-off is worth it. I'll just keep in mind to resize images appropriately before uploading, and remind others to do so as well.
Click to enlarge image would be nice to have (maybe you could make use of the lightbox javascript already used elsewhere in N-13 News...) but, honestly, I don't know of many other News scripts that have that feature, or even how much it would be used.
