Hi I have a .doc file uploaded to one of my archives but when i click download the structure of my web page goes haywire !!

I have put the link below (hope thats okay) if you find time and want to look just scroll down click the download and you will see, my menu goes missing and other stuff too... (embarassingly its probably my fault but not sure why or how)

i've tried it at my own site. and i've got the same problem.
