add master image to article

Each article have a thumbnail picture for showing in sammary page
well,
we must attach this picture,when sending article(in new post page)
how we do it?

Also would like something like this, I actually I'm very interested in getting a panel to type in Joomla sites has, displaying a photo of the news and a brief summary, rotating it about 4 stories ...

Currently not possible to assign an image to an article. This has been suggested before by another user and I've explained an alternative, but not ideal solution - http://code.google.com/p/n-13news/issues/detail?id=128&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Owner%20Summary

wondering if there's any update on this!

having a thumbnail displayed in the summary (homepage) from one of the images in the article would be superb.
