Everytime I go to hit "submit" when I JUST finished typing up a blog/news article entry, instead of taking me to the list of the news page and saying "news has been added." it logs me out. I've already cleared my cache and cookies. Idk why it's doing this...I've just upgraded my from 3.6 to 4.0 BUT It was doing this since before I upgraded...can you help please? =)

This is likely due to the timeout on sessions that are being set by your server, if you can edit your php.ini file directly search for



And set it to a higher value. If you don't have access to the php.ini file ask your host they should be able to do it for you.

Have you tried selecting the "Remember me" box when logging in to see if the problem still persists?

I have tried that and it keeps me logged in for a few minutes longer...but i'll try the php.ini thing and get back to you.

I have the same problem.
And I had to add that, it kicks me out while editing "options" or writing an article, AND sometimes it logs with other user I created.
I mean, I've created an admin user and a mod user... and sometimes it changes userrs logging out from one to the other.

Any help?
