This is a "How To" question if possible, or a "Suggestion" if not.

Just let me say, as a "News" script, N-13 is almost perfect. There's always going to be a few unique applications that push the limits, but for 99% of the uses, it has everything that's needed.

So now I'm considering using N-13 as a BLOG, and was wondering how I could create a "Tag Cloud" for the articles. Then it occurred to me that Categories could be used as tags, since a given article can have multiple categories.

But then comes the issue of keeping up with the various "Tags" and displaying them. There are ways to code a link to produce results from a particular category. But,I would expect, in this use of the script, there would be new categories/tags being added all the time, and that creates the challenge of constantly updating these links to display the various tags and filter the results.

So, is there a way to extract all of the categories, and display them as links to filter articles with that category?
