I'm running N-13 News 3.7 (yet to upgrade to 4.0 and would like to know how to automatically include/embed from news ALL categories apart from those i specify into my site.

The $cat[] option is to see the categories to only include. Bascially, i want the opposite, categories to expclude. This makes things much easier if there's say only one/two (ok...a few) categories you DONT want to be included.

I hope this is already possible or can be added with a quick patch? I really need it for a number of my sites.

It seems to be working, the only problem is it also ignores posts with no category.

I'd ideally like to have EVERYTHING apart from categories specified by the $nocat variable, including posts with no category.

Thanks for adding this to the 4.1 to-do list. I don't mean to rush buy is there any idea of an ETA?
