A couple of months ago, i upgraded the N-13 installation on one of my sites to 4.0 (a few days after release actually. The problem is, now when going into the Admin area to post news etc, the layout/formatting is incorrect. This would bother me much, but the sub-menu items aren't being displayed. It looks almost as if the CSS or JS isn't loading properly.
All files CSS & JS are on the server, but for some reason the admin page isn't loading it.
I tried doing a seperate installation as a test, but keeping my orig db.php file (that way keep the link to the database with all my news items but that didn't work either.
What's weird is that the upgrade of another installation on the same server (i run multiple sites on this server) worked fine.
Are there any suggestions? I don't mind doing a clean install, as long as I can backup my news items. Speaking of which, is it just the news, cats & groupcats tables that needs backing up (I have no linked files or images in my posts yet)?
I hope this can be resolved ASAP as I've been unable to post on my side for months now as a result of this which is really not good
