I'm using short/full story for the first time. Can get to the full story (only that one is displayed), but I'd like a link under the full story to go back to the full news listing.

I've had a search through the forum ... I'm sure there must be something on this, but I can't find anything.

What I did was add the HTML in my template for a link back to the main News page.

Thanks RayC ... but I don't know where it needs to go so it shows up in the FullStory only ... and I'm not even sure what to add ... is this in one of the N-13 template sections, or directly in the .php file?

(I'm a typical British person - don't do languages such as HTML, PHP, French, German, Spanish etc.)

Here's what I have on one site. In the template being used, in the "Comments Structure" section, I have something like this:


The "http://www.domain.com/pathto/newspage.php" part is the full URL to wherever your main news page with summaries is located.

The "<-- Back to News" bit is the text that appears as a link. If you wanted an image, you'd need to use an Image Source tag instead.

This should be effectively the same as clicking whatever main navigation link gets you to "NEWS".

So apparently my sendmail server crashed a couple weeks ago and the monitoring service failed to restart it AND notify me of it crashing.. fun times.

Which meant that I wasn't getting any emails notifying me of new threads on the forum, hence my absence :/
