Embedding a video

I thought I had this figured out, and have successfully added one video to a news item. But now I'm having the "empty white flash box" again so I guess I don't have it figured out. I click on the Flash icon and paste the url in (e.g. http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/4577046/why-the-markets-may-be-headed-for-bear-run/) and that should do it, right?

So if there's no video, what kind of things can I do to troubleshoot. I don't see a way to view the html and maybe embed it as javascript or something.

Thanks for any tips or help.

The best way to add a video is to embed the code. If you click on the embed button on a vimeo video to get the code then when editing your news article click the 'Source' button on the toolbar when editing news articles.

I just noticed on the n13news4.0.1_fullwysiwyg.zip package the show source button isn't there for some reason. To make it show edit the news/js/ckeditor/config.js file.

You'll see lines of text that look like this

['customfiles2','customsmiley2','customimage2','-','Cut','Copy','Paste','PasteText','PasteFromWord','-','Print', 'SpellChecker', 'Scayt'],

Wherever you want the Source button to show add 'Source', so if you wanted it to show at the beginning of that row of buttons change it to this

Yes, I noticed the Source button was not there too and added it yesterday. I did the embed and it showed my video.

Glad I wasn't just doing something stupid with the Flash button.
