I integrated Network-13 into another directory on my server. I am still not sure where I'm fully heading with this project, but it is going to work as a content management system.
Feedback is appreciated:

Always nice to see what's being done with N-13. Your site looks like it works well from everything I could see. The only thing I noticed was a misspelling of through (as threw) on point #6 at http://www.informative-works.info/advertising.php.
That was an informative Adwords walk-through btw. I use AdSense on my site, but have never set up an Adwords acct to advertise elsewhere. Interesting to see how it works.
Thank you for the supportive feedback! It is always a lot of work. More importantly, thanks for pointing that out. I been committing a lot of time to the project in the past few weeks. I couldn't begin to explain how many times I wrote and re-wrote. That is still one of the of the ones I THREW up on the server :)))).
If you are using Adsense, it is a good idea to implement Targeting. It opens greater doors for advertising opportunities. On the adwords side, they call it Managed Placement. Clearly I don't work for Google, but from my research, that will work only when the Adsense box has targeting enabled.
If it starts generating some income, I fully intend on making a modest contribution to the developer and expanding on the program. I am excited with the project. I underestimated the difficulty in getting back links or exchanges for this type of Website.
I am using Targetable ads but I really saw my income drop when I changed from my old format to the new one with N-13. But I want to say it was in no way N-13's fault. I just had a huge database of articles and images with my old site which, for a variety of reasons, I shelved and decided to start anew. Once I get the new database well populated again, especially with friendly URL's, I think it should be at least as good as before.
So now I'm trying to figure out the best way to generate (hopefully automatically) a sitemap.xml with dynamic data and submit it to get my rankings back up.
Spell checkers are nice but they don't show you if you've put in threw instead of through and sometimes auto correct really messes you up by putting in something you didn't want but you miss it because there's no red line under it. Oh well, all in all the benefits of these tools outweigh the problems.
I hope you do make a contribution to N-13. I have nothing to do with them (except being a happy user). But I've been really impressed with how quickly questions are addressed here and it seems like such an awesome piece of software, I'd hate to see it fall by the wayside for lack of support and continued development.
Speaking of format, I just noticed a suggestion from Google Adsense regarding placement of Ads. It asked for the type of Website and then illustrated a placement format for the Home, Category Indexes, and the news pages. I dislike changing the format often but what they suggested makes me ponder on lost revenue.
I avoided the friendly urls. The way I have Website structured, I am concerned with duplicate content. I notice when submitting an article to multiple Categories, this occurs. For example, if I place an article in Health and Medicine Categories, that article is displayed with two different urls. I went through and removed the duplicate categories for all the articles. The last pass from Google the other day reduced my site down to 613 pages (Directory too). I am still seeing some of the duplicates in the results. I am starting to Populate the database no too. I hope you get good results again!
To Auto-populate and xml file, you would make a big hit on the database, especially with a lot of content. Years ago, Phpbb 2 had an xml hack. You might be able to tweak a copy of that, if you can find one around still. Personally, I would look to the RSS Feed. Make one for each category and submit your feeds. I believe I did that through Analytics.
I definitely will. I feel bad not making a contribution yet. Times are difficult at the moment. Hence, all the efforts and energy focused on here!
Thanks for the tips, Michael. I have not used Google Analytics, but I will look into it and your idea of submitting RSS feeds. I never thought of that and need to learn more.
