I enter in my info and I get this message? (yes I do have the database created, triple checked everything)

Quote:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

I noticed in the dropdown there is "mysql" "mysqli" & "pdo".
Is the possible problem that you don't have a "mysqld" option, or something else?

Is there certain PHP things that need to be working?
Like:
register_globals
magic_quotes_gpc
allow_url_include

or anything else??? Thanks

Nevermind.... False alarm....

The host automatically sent me "special" configuration instructions once the database was created. I have to use some dumb subdomain address for the server/host instead of the normal "localhost" and it had a special port etc.

Anyway, sorry... Installed fine. :)

Now have some operation issues when testing...

First, when I try to click on the "Comments" link or the "Full Story" link I don't go anywhere, and ultimately times out with an error page?

Second is when I place the PHP Include link in my site, it doesn't show?
(UPDATE) This particular issue has been fixed. Was a retard and forgot the rule that my pages needed to be named .php, haven't done this in awhile.
Hey, you should likely include that fact in the "Integegration Instructions" in the Wiki. :)

(UPDATE 2)... Fixed the first problem also, just needed to follow the Friendly URL instructions in the Wiki, changing the .htaccess and moving it to the root directory. Now I just need to configure everything and try to get my Templates to work correctly in relation to the virtual directory.

Thanks all.... :)
