Is the use of the parameter ?goto=search to call up a search box a "deprecated" function of N-13 news?

I know it still works, but it no longer appears in the WIKI.

I'm wondering if I should continue to use this, or if I should be changing it because it will be dropped at some future update.

It's still in the Wiki.... at least as of two days ago.
I have the wiki saved as a chm file, so I can have the Help stuff at my hands, and I inserted the search function once seeing if it would show. Though, I need to do it again to make sure the search is actually working.

OK. I found it now. It's buried in the "Templates" section and shown as an example on how to display the search form.

But it's not shown in the Integration section (which is where I was looking for it). The only method described is this:



This made me wonder if the ?goto=search method was being phased out.
