After upgrading from 3.3 to 4.0.2 we noticed some strange behaviour in the overview of our news articles. We are using the default template and changed nothing.

The overview should only show the date + titles. Most of them show fine, but in the middle of the list some articles show in full.

Problems are for example on pages 1, 3 and 10 where you can see some full articles where only the title should appear. Other pages are just fine.

I searched solutions for hours but I am totally stuck. Any help ?

OK, I just found out that the summary has to contain text, even if it is not used. Putting for example an 'X' in the summary solves our problem. Strange...
