Hi Chris,
Uggh, I always hate seeing these questions just because people get so impatient with new releases. However, I am happy to say I am not impatient at all, just trying to make the best use of my time. I am currently modifying (in my case it is more like hacking since I am teaching myself) the fabulous 3.1 to include some of the newer version upgrades, but if the newer version is right around the corner, I figure I could work on some other things.
Anyway, I was wondering when the next version with these upgrades will be implemented. 3.2 To Do
Thanks again and sorry for being "That guy" ,

I still don't have a date unfortunately . At the moment I'm working on creating a language file, which means taking every pick of language out from the script, sticking it in a seperate file, then linking it back into the script. Basically so that users can easily change the language without having to go through lots of different files. It's unbelievably tedious and taking quite a long time
Reading through the "to do" list for 3.2, it sounds like this script is going to be awesome, and is slowly transforming from a news publishing script, to a full blown content management script! I will definitely use it to manage whole sites when 3.2 comes out
Chris - Very cool. I can totally understand how much work it is as I look around inside the code. If you need any help, please let us know. We are definitely willing to help on your project. In the meantime I pieced together my own image upload script and figured out how to add my own BBcode stuff. I made an image shadow code so that you can add a white frame with a drop shadow around the image using some CSS stuff.
Matt - It is definitely gearing up to be something cool and ultra functional, yet not bloated. One reason I am not a fan of the whole CMS thing as comparing to those that I have seen, is that they are just overloaded with limited mobility. It will have several functions, many of which I don't need, and then I am locked into the standard formatting. That is why this script is so great because I have 1 include on my entire page. Then with the admin interface, my wife can easily modify the website. How cool is that.
So anyway, definitely looking forward to the 3.2.
