Short and full story problem

When i post news, i how can i get it to show only the short story, and when they click "full story" it opens the full story up in a new window.

Please help, thanks. :lol:

Ok i figured out how to get the short story to show up, but when i click "read full story" how do i get it to open up in a new window?

If you edit the template you're using, edit the News section, and where you normally have your [readmore]Read More[/readmore] link, change it to a [comments] Read More[/comments]
Then goto the system configuration section and change

Code:

Show comments in new window

to Yes.

Now when you click readmore, the full story will open in a new window.

chris ok im haveing a new problem, go to www.xoticaphex.com/index.php and look at my news, click the read more button and look what happens. How do i fix this?

This is a problem with your layout/design. If you place content in the content box that exceeds the height of the design it breaks.
