hello all! Im new here and I like this Newsscript
but I have a little problem. My testing site -> http://davenco.kilu.de/ so... if I use the setting with the friendly URLs and click on comments a new blank site is openend... without the red testing navi and blue header.
But if I dont use the friendly urls, the script is including perfekt into the site. with red navi and blue header.

I hope someone can help me.

Try moving the .htaccess file in the news directory to your main directory above it.

Well I give u some info.

My index.php (testing site where the news were includes, with the red navi and blue header ) is in the root directory.
The news script is in directory /news/.
The settings in the system configuration "Friendly URLs" is...

enable friendly urls : yes
file extension : .html
prefix : /news/
directory filename : index.html

the .htaccess is in the root directory with:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule .* /news/index.php [L]
what did I do wrong...?
