I just installed the script, everything was integrating nicely with the layout--
then i hit my first bump. The news only shows when the full story link is clicked.
The short story news doesn't show. Here is the template coding I used:


The css has nothing of importance to interact with the php, and I have no other scripts on the layout yet.

Try adding {shortstory} to your template, so like this.

i just figured it out, i noticed the ajax template had {shortstory}

I noticed the path for your smileys haven't installed properly, to fix that goto the smileys section, there's a link at the bottom "Update path to all smilies"

In the first box put


in the second


and hit update, this should fix them.
